Make my Friday, Mitropoleos str., city center

It was a cold Sunday afternoon when i went out to take some photos for this post and because of Sunday, unfortunately many shops were closed.

Mitropoleos is a very pleasant road to walk and wander, i think much more interesting than Ermou str.

If you have the  time to come to the center of the city or if you live close and have a walk down Mitropoleos you will find:

'Metalo design', interesting pieces of jewelry in good prices. 
If i remember well i once was given a ring as a present from this shop, i am not sure i still have it...sorry...

'Hip cafe and restaurant', i often come here with my daughter or friends, the food is very good, wonderful hot chocolate and the people who work here are all adorable.

This cute little place is located just next to 'Hip'. I've never been there but it looks lovely. Perhaps you can try it and let me know, thank you.

'Athinaikon', this a very new arrival, the old place in Themistocleous str. has wonderful food and i hope this one also keeps the taste of Greek 'meze' pretty authentic.

This is the facade of hotel Metropole, totally covered with this amazing bougainvillea. Lovely...

Hungry? 'Ithaki' grill house is here for the immortal Greek souvlaki.

And if you like to buy something for your Christmas nights, leave the high street and have a look at the small boutiques like this one.'Candyshop' has unique pieces in reasonable and affordable prices.
