We are coming closer to Big Friday, a day of deep grief and sadness in Greece. People go to church till late night and the bells sound every hour to remind us it is a day of a funeral.
Easter though is just a breath away and so it's the Easter table.
I was thinking this year to prepare something a bit different for this day - not very far away though as it is the most traditional table we may share. Here is what i am thinking and you can send me your ideas too.
nothing can beat Greek salad so i stay with it
Iranian vegetable stew as a side dish
red peppers with soft cheese, crispy polenta, saffron rice, side dishes
Lamp shoulder with broad beans and herbs, main dish
dessert, pavlova ice cream
Have a Blissful Easter!
Love, K.
