I heard Lou Reed for the first time when i was a student .
I liked his voice, his songs, his style, the ultra cool
New Yorker style.
Lou Reed was a unique personality, he said interesting
things, played in movies, wrote wonderful songs.
He was a city poet.
With his songs we fell in love, discovered a different way
of approaching things, some of us walked on the wild side,
some of us had perfect days, some traveled to Venus in furs,
and some woke up on Sunday mornings.
The rock heaven had been waiting for the man.
And the man is gone.
