Make my Friday, Glifada area

A few days ago i could not resist the desire to move a little from my beloved city center and visit Glifada, the hot spot for  cool shopping and sophisticated eating choices.

I like Glifada, i can find some of the best home styling stores, lovely flower shops, countless boutiques, not to mention the zillions of coffee shops and restaurants. So i grabbed my daughter and we drove there that morning, having a very lovely time wandering around to take photos, we did some shopping (both of us) and we ended up to our favorite Italian restaurant. Oh, and as you can see we could not resist to these pink(y) heart cookies from M&S food .

Have a wonderful weekend.

Auckland, New Zealand

A few months ago we decided to have a very loooong trip, in fact it is the longest you can have unless you decide to visit Antarctica.

I had heard so many times how beautiful this place was but the truth is that New Zealand  is the most amazing place i have ever seen and  people are the kindest i have ever met (Irish included).

We rented a house for 15 days - and this made us feel like locals for a while - and we also rented a car to travel as much as possible around Auckland. Also we were very lucky to meet the wonderful Greek community (we had been visiting during the orthodox Easter) and spent some emotional hours with them.

Auckland (and around) is a magical place, water and volcanoes are everywhere, so is the good food (unbelievable) and of course the beauty of nature.

Our home was located in Ponsonby  area, so lucky to have Ripe at our doorstep, which spoiled us a lot. The days passed away so fast we could not believe and my only consolation is that one day i will go back again cause a part of my heart has been left behind....

Cecelia Webber

Cecelia Webber is an artist who works primarily in digital photography and acrylic painting.

She has said '' Each image takes many stages to create. I start by researching photos of the creature or plant. I'm trying to create and then sketch poses i want to photograph in a notebook.... I never warp or edit them to change them, it is important to me to portray real natural bodies. Once i have my photos i start laying out my piece and playing with color and arrangements.''

Her work has been published in numerous international publications and exhibited worldwide.
