Black, White, Grey and a bit of other

When it comes to color choosing i am always into deep colors. This house in Melbourne in a 1930's building was renovated to accommodate a family of five. Dark colors create character and give prominence to the space while the existing furniture collection has been worked in with new pieces.
Black and white are the winners, the whole house has a slightly minimalistic approach and the result looks fantastic. My favorite piece is the monochrome wash basin and marble backdrop, looking great in the bathroom, a striking choice.
The house is very eclectic and clean lined with a sense of balance between contemporary and period pieces.
Interior designer Hecker Guthrie was in charge of the project.

Love, K.
